These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kandlit (the "Service"), operated by an individual based in Tlemcen, Algeria ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using Kandlit, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use Kandlit
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kandlit. If you're under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at hello@kandlit.site if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. What Kandlit does
Kandlit lets you generate puzzle books (word search, number search, Sudoku, and related formats) and export them as print-ready PDFs or images for platforms like Amazon KDP, or for your own personal or digital use. Puzzle content you create is generated and rendered in your browser; we don't store the contents of your puzzle books on our servers.
4. Free and Pro plans
Kandlit offers a free tier with limited page counts, watermarked exports, and a daily export limit, and a paid Pro subscription with higher limits and no watermark. Current pricing and limits are shown on the Kandlit homepage and may change from time to time; we'll make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to paid subscribers.
5. Payments, billing, and cancellation
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, invoicing, and payment security — we never see or store your full card details.
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the billing portal linked in your account settings. When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of your current billing period, after which it will not renew. We don't offer partial-month refunds for cancellations.

Outside of the cancellation policy above, refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you're entitled to a refund, contact us at hello@kandlit.site with your account details and the reason for your request, and we'll review it.

You own the puzzle books and content you generate using Kandlit, and you're free to publish, sell, or otherwise use them however you like, including on Amazon KDP or other platforms. We claim no ownership over content you create with the Service.
9. Service availability
We do our best to keep Kandlit available and reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Kandlit, including lost profits, lost data, or issues arising from third-party platforms (such as Amazon KDP or Lemon Squeezy) that are outside our control.
11. Termination
You may stop using Kandlit and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Kandlit after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Algeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
